With their clean, free, beautiful open spaces and quaint seaside charm, "The Quiet Resorts" are the coastal towns near Delaware's southern border, including Bethany Beach, South Bethany, Fenwick Island and Ocean View, all neatly nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and bay areas.

Fenwick Island State Park is quiet with restroom facilities, a bathhouse and food stand - saltwater lovers are set for the entire day! Holts Landing State Park, on the south shore of the Indian River Bay has a pavilion for family picnics, boat ramp, playground and ball fields. Fishing, clamming and crabbing can also be enjoyed at Holts Landing.

A myriad of recreational opportunities are available to please even the most discerning. Aside from swimming and sunbathing, water sports include boating, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, sail boarding, parasailing, surfing, water slides, clamming, crabbing and fishing.
